Overview:
This is an epic Uganda experience; on this safari you will track the sought after Mountain Gorillas in the wilds of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is home to nearly half of the remaining Gorillas and it is a world class tourist destination recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will also discover the great game in the wilds of Queen Elizabeth, the park is a premier destination for game safaris with the famous tree climbing Lions of Ishasha sector, the Mweya Peninsular and Katwe plains known for hosting a medley of wildlife.

Note: On your day of arrival, you will be met and received by our guide at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to your overnight accommodation in Kampala. Day 01: Departure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park [Approximately 8hours drive]
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel in Kampala, you are to be picked by your guide and board off to Bwindi Impenetrable. En-route you stop at the Equator-00 latitude for a simple water tryout, snapshots and souvenir shopping; you will also stop in Mbarara for lunch. Continue with the drive to Southwestern Uganda arriving in the evening in this beautiful part of the country where you will set your eyes on the pleasant Kigezi Highlands. Meal Plan: Half Board [HB]. Day 02: Tracking the Mountain Gorillas in the wilds of Bwindi
Begin with an early breakfast at the lodge, transfer with packed lunch boxes to the registration area, here you receive briefing from the park ranger and at 0830 hours, enter the forested depths of Bwindi and track the Gorillas. The forest is home to a number of species like birds, mammals and other primates that you may come across. Tracking can last for just a few hours or through the entire day depending on the location and movement of these great Apes; on locating them, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour in their presence. After the activity, retreat to the start point and drive off back to the lodge. Day 03: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
After a leisurely breakfast, signoff to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Continue Northwards of Bwindi through the striking terraced highlands of Kigezi, you will enter Queen Elizabeth through the famous Ishasha sector in the south of the park known for its resident tree climbing Lions. Drive through this sector for chances to see the kings of the savanna Plains lying in tree branches keeping a close watch on their prey or as they plan their hunt on the ground. Later continue to the lodge, check-in and dinner will be here.

Day 04: Game drive and launch cruise
Today after breakfast, hit the savannas to lookout for mammals and other species frequenting the plains. Circuits through Kasenyi reward you with Buffalo herds, Warthogs, African Elephants, and Antelopes among others. These may be opportune moments to spot Lions plan their morning hunt, as early grazers come to feed on fresh grass. Have lunch later in the afternoon and head for a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel jam-packed with wildlife especially Hippopotamus. Spot the game lingering along the shores.

Day 05: Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe airport
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, checkout in the midmorning hours and set in for a drive back to Kampala. On arrival, you will either be dropped at the hotel or be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch. End of Safari
